ABOUT ME

I am Hannah Gilbert the women behind this keyboard,  who lives in Bristol in a small area called Whitchurch.

I am a mum, wife, daughter, aunty, godmother, friend, animal lover, craft crazy, music/ film lover, advocate for mental health... I am just your everyday woman like many with this condition suffering daily.

I have a condition called Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). This Blog is about my life, being the best mother I can possibly be to my toddler son Austin and a wife to my hubby Sam. Follow my journeys of my highs & lows and wanting to be an advocate for change and raising awareness of PMDD.

I want to talk about my own life experiences and my present future in the hope, people will become more aware and women like myself won’t suffer in silence.

If you know me, then you will know that I am slightly unconventional and strange on top of living with PMDD, whilst coming to accept my condition.
I don’t like to sugar coat anything and I am not afraid to tell you how it is!

I don't consider myself a writer by any means...in fact I don't enjoy writing, I’m dyslexic and rubbish at English!...but you see, my dilemma is that I've got things to say, I want to make a difference and raise awareness of PMDD! In today’s world when you have something to say or want to make a difference, you put it out there and blog! So here it is....

Meet the family
